My Country

I am proud of my country and I love it. Every country has its own culture, language, history, and traditions. Therefore, Sri Lanka is a multi-cultural society. We celebrate many festivals such as Vesak, Poson, Thai Pongal, Hajj, and others. People of different religions live in our country. Sri Lanka is a beautiful island with green nature, mountains, rivers, and beaches. Tourists from many countries visit Sri Lanka. I live in Sri Lanka as an undergraduate student. I would like to go on a journey around my country. I am very happy to be born in Sri Lanka.
